How to upgrade your breathalyser

For both our personal and professional clients, we understand that investing in new alcohol testing equipment can quite often be hard to justify or find the budget for. To help make things a little easier, we offer a breathalyser trade-in option when you upgrade to a new breathalyser from our digital range.

Our range of high-quality breathalysers are designed for longevity, particularly the professional models from Drager, which are used daily by police forces across the UK. Some of our clients have had their devices for more than 10 years and with regular calibration, they continue to work perfectly. However, technology moves on and our range of digital breathalysers offers the latest in alcohol testing equipment, designed to detect alcohol as quickly and accurately as possible.

Perhaps your breathalyser is just not working as effectively as it did, or maybe you need additional features like a test memory, a mobile wireless printer, or an evidential device for workplace alcohol testing.

With our trade-in option, you could save up to £250 when you upgrade.

What if my breathalyser isn’t working?

It doesn’t matter if your breathalyser isn’t working properly, we will still offer you a valuation to trade it in for a new one.

How do I trade-in my breathalyser?

We need to take a few details from you in order to give you a valuation price, simply fill in our valuation form and we’ll come back to you within 1 working day.

If you decide to accept our offer for your old breathalyser, we will give you with a discount code, valid for 30 days, that can be used to buy your new breathalyser online. Alternatively, we can process your order over the phone – just give us a call on 0208 454 7372.

We will need to receive your old breathalyser before we can send out your upgrade. When you have placed your upgrade order, send us your old breathalyser with a copy of your invoice to the address below. Please include all accessories and the original packaging, if you still have it, and remove the batteries.

We’ll contact you by email to let you know when your new breathalyser has been dispatched.

What happens to my old breathalyser?

If the breathalyser is working, we’ll put it through our workshop to calibrate it and correct any faults. We’ll then pass it to one of our partners for re-sale as a refurbished unit.

If the breathalyser is no longer working, we’ll take a look at in our workshop to see if there is anything we can do to revive it. If we can’t, it will be recycled.
